These are some pictures of local people in and around the Parish, from the Dungannon Observer, Tyrone Courier and other sources
the aim is for people to reminisce of days gone by, and for all our ex-pats out there, to feel a bit closer to home
please feel free to send me any pictures you might want added to, listamlet@mail.com, and feel free to share them with family and friends thanks if for any reason you want a picture removed, that’s no problem please email me and I’ll take care of it.
Because of the vast quantity of images, it would be easier to right click the image and open in new tab, rather than using the back button

Absolutely fascinating- came across it by accident and it confirms my suspicion that I have more in common with the 19th century than the 21st

Hi there James, yes for sure life was a lot simpler and went at a slower pace back in the day ,surely with a name like Conroy there might be a connection to the Moy?thanks again for stopping in

Thanks. Just came back for a re-fresh – see lots more added. Yes- grew up in the Moy and feature in a couple of places. Amazing how much of life revolved around Church activities!

Hi there James, life certainly revolved around the Church more than you see today, the Church Hall was the hub of many communities, were now some are barely being used, from the Church bazaar to the many talented musicians that toured the Country and the great plays and musicals that were held inside, to what we see now it’s a shame
